2023 was a banner year for Haras Dadinco, and the new one is looking similarly bright.

The Chilean breeder was represented by a yearlong roster of winning graduates, many out of imported American-bred mares. Standout among the group was leading Chilean 2yo Toy Soltero, whose 1/2 sister Ando Soltera (photo) made a winning debut herself Saturday in Santiago.

Carrying her breeder's silks, the Flameaway filly out of Malibu Maple (Malibu Moon) was a comfortable winner of a five-furlong turf maiden run on Christmas Eve. She is the 2nd winner for her dam, a $15,000 Keeneland September graduate hailing from one of America's deepest present-day families.

Toy Soltero (Van Nistelrooy) fashioned an undefeated juvenile season including three successive Gr2 victories.
