It's that rare occurrence when a pedigree thrives simultaneously in both hemispheres.

South Florida-based Olivia Darling, close related to a key Haras Dadinco import, landed her biggest career triumph in Saturday's Gr2 Inside Information S. Irad Ortiz sat a perfect trip aboard the 5yo Palace mare, drawing away to win by 2 1/4 lengths, with favored Maryquitecontrary a rallying 3rd.

Daughter of the Bluegrass Cat mare Honky Tonk Angel, Olivia Darling shares the same 2nd dam, Bitter Lemon, as Haras Dadinco-owned Not Again. The Awesome Again mare is dam of the prolific Training Again (Van Nistelrooy), a five-time winner & stakes-placed in 2023.

Bitter Lemon, daughter of the influential Lemon Drop Kid, was stakes-placed herself at Aqueduct & Laurel Park, plus is kin to three additional black-type producers. She, like her Gr2-winning dam Snit, raced as a homebred for the late William Backer.
